About Sheila Martin
Mini-Bio
Award-winning writer Sheila Martin lives with her husband, Bob, and cats
Boomer and Bambi, in a home overlooking the ocean, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. She holds an honors degree in sociology from Simon Fraser University.
In 1986, Sheila and her sister, Toni Alain, co-authored and self-published a cookbook called Food From the Heart. The company they formed to publish that first book was called Sea Breeze Press.
Several years later, as Sheila was completing work on a book to help survivors of death in the family, her sister Toni was diagnosed with brain cancer. Toni lived to help celebrate the publication of that book, The Survivor's Guide, which became an instant best-seller. In the years since, Sheila has continued to expand Sea Breeze Press, and has now converted the business into an online publishing company, Sea Breeze Digital Publishing Inc.
Among Sheila's other information products are: A Eulogy to Remember (advice on how to write and deliver a eulogy), Saying Goodbye with Love (where you can find a step-by-step guide through the details of death), and Preparing for Surgery (based on the Happy Hyst package, but without the specifics relating to hysterectomies).
do you have fibromyalgia?
Do you have fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue? Do you know someone who does?
Fibro is a condition which affects millions of people, mostly women. Since most doctors are "helpless" to treat fibromyalgia and fatigue, we need to take charge of our own health care and regain our vitality.
As someone who first began suffering from symptoms of fibromyalgia in the mid-seventies, Sheila has decades of experience with what works (and what doesn't) to provide relief from this painful condition. Discover more here: The Tired Woman's Guide to Freedom from Fibromyalgia.
